1. What exactly is a heel jewel?
So Lars LaLa is protective heel jewelry that slides directly over the heel of your existing shoes. It helps protect the heel from scratches, scuffs, impact, and dirt while completely transforming its appearance.
Remove it, switch it to another compatible pair, and reimagine the shoes you already own.
2. Which shoes does it work with?
So Lars LaLa is designed for heels 7cm or higher and between 5–17mm wide, measured at the base of the heel.
It works with most heel shapes within these dimensions, including tapered, flared, and narrow block heels.
It is not recommended for cone heels or extremely curved or comma-shaped heels.
3. How do I know which heel cap to use?
Every pair comes with four interchangeable heel caps, so you don't need to select a size when ordering.
The four sizes are:
5–8mm
8–11mm
11–14mm
14–17mm
Measure the width of your heel at its base and start with the corresponding cap.
The correct cap should fit snugly. If it slides on too easily, use the next size down.
4. How do I change the heel cap?
Simply remove the current heel cap and replace it with another of the four sizes included with your So Lars LaLa.
No tools or glue are required.
5. Will it stay on while I walk?
Yes. The flexible recycled TPU heel cap uses a friction-fit system to grip the heel securely during normal wear.
The correct cap should feel snug when fitted. If it slides on too easily, move down to the next size.
6. What is So Lars LaLa made from?
The inner core and interchangeable heel caps are made from recycled TPU.
The flowers and stems are 3D printed from recycled PLA. The rhinestones are new material.
Each piece is 3D printed, then individually assembled, painted, and rhinestoned by hand in the Paris region of France.
7. Can I use one pair on different shoes?
Yes. That's part of the idea.
So Lars LaLa can be removed and transferred between compatible heels, allowing you to transform different shoes in your existing collection with the same pair of heel jewels.
Just make sure each shoe falls within the 7cm minimum height and 5–17mm heel-width specifications.
8. Does it protect my existing heels?
Yes. Protection is one of the two core functions of So Lars LaLa.
The heel jewelry covers the existing heel, helping protect it against scratches, scuffs, impact, and dirt while you wear it.
It can also cover a heel where the original heel stud has previously fallen off, allowing the heel jewel and cap to provide a protective covering at the base.
9. Can I use it on heels that are already scuffed or worn?
Yes. So Lars LaLa can be worn over compatible heels that are already scuffed or marked, concealing existing wear while helping protect the covered heel from further everyday damage.
10. Will it damage my shoes?
So Lars LaLa is designed to fit over the heel without permanently altering or attaching to the shoe.
There is no glue or permanent fastening. The heel jewel can simply be removed when you want to return the shoe to its original appearance.
11. How do I clean it?
Gently wipe your So Lars LaLa with a damp cloth when needed.
Do not soak the piece or use abrasive cleaning products.
After wearing, remove the heel jewels from your shoes and store them in the original box.
12. What if a flower crown falls off?
Spare flower crowns are included in the box.
Locate the stem where the flower detached, take a replacement flower crown, gently move the petals back to expose the fitting, and carefully secure the new flower onto the stem.
No glue or tools are required.
13. Is every So Lars LaLa identical?
No. Each piece contains 96 individually assembled stems and is individually finished by hand.
The overall dimensions and construction remain consistent, but subtle variations in flower placement, color, finish, and rhinestone placement are part of the process. These differences make each piece unique.
