1. What exactly is a heel jewel?
It's a protective cover that slides directly onto the heel of your existing shoes. It shields the heel from everyday wear while completely transforming its look — giving any pair a fresh new aesthetic without buying new shoes.
2. Which shoes does it work with?
It's designed for heels with a width of 5mm to 15mm and a height of minimum 70mm. Each purchase includes four interchangeable inner heel caps to cover the full size range, so it works with the vast majority of stiletto and other narrow heel styles.
3. How do I know which size to use?
Measure the width of your heel at the bottom. The four sizes cover: 5–7mm, 7–9mm, 9–12mm, and 12–15mm. Start with the cap that matches your measurement — it should slide on snugly. If you feel your cover is sliding down or needing to readjust make sure to use the right size and go down a size.
4. How do I switch between sizes?
Simply slide off the inner heel cap and swap it for one of the other three included in the box. No tools needed. The cap clicks in and out by hand in seconds.
5. Will it stay on while I walk?
Yes. The inner TPU cap is designed to grip the heel securely during normal wear. The TPU material is flexible enough to conform to slight variations in heel shape while maintaining a firm hold.
6. What is it made from?
The cover is 3D printed from recycled plastic and TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) — a durable, flexible material commonly used in premium footwear. Every piece is then hand assembled, so each cover is made with real care and attention. Choosing recycled materials means each cover helps keep plastic out of landfill.
7. How does it double my shoe closet?
Because each cover gives a shoe a completely different appearance, one pair of shoes effectively becomes two distinct looks. Swap the covers across your collection and you multiply the number of outfit combinations available to you without buying a single new pair.
8. Does it protect my existing heels?
Yes — that's one of its core purposes. The cover acts as a buffer between the heel and hard surfaces, absorbing the impact and abrasion that normally wears heels down. This significantly extends the life of each shoe.
9. Can I use it on heels that are already scuffed or worn?
Absolutely. The cover fits over the existing heel, concealing any prior damage and preventing further wear at the same time. It's a great way to revive older pairs.
10. How do I clean the cover?
Wipe with a damp cloth. For tougher marks, a mild soap and water solution works well. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking, which could affect the fit of the inner cap over time.
11. What if a flower crown falls off?
No need to worry — spare flower crowns are included in the box. To replace one, locate the stem where the crown detached, take a new flower crown, gently bend the petals back, and click it into place on the stem. No tools or glue required.
12. How do I clean it?
After you finish wearing your heels, do what you’d normally do: air out and remove covers and store in their box.
13. When will my product be shipped?
All So Lars LaLa heel jewels are handmade and made to order in Pantin, France. Please allow up to 3 weeks from the date your order is confirmed for your piece to be crafted, finished, and dispatched. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order is on its way.
